Tim Adcock in a mystery place!
Where am I?

Tim Adcock

Having gained an HND in Industrial Model Making & Design at the Kent Institute of Art & Design in 1988, Tim has worked as a professional model maker for the last 20 years.

Tim began his professional career working as a freelance architectural model maker, working with companies in Hong Kong, London, Newcastle & Bristol.  Then in 1994 Tim joined Games Workshop in Nottingham and worked his way from mould maker to one of their senior Miniature designers.

He was the guy responsible for making many of their plastic kits and metal miniature vehicles.  These, to name a few, include the Thunder Hawk gunship, Epic tanks, Gothic space ships, plastic Sentinel, Tau Devil Fish & Hammerhead, Chaos Defiler, Empire Steam Tank & canons, Space Marine plastic Rhino and the Cities of Death buildings. As you can see, he has pretty much been involved in the making of most of their plastic vehicle models over the last 10 years.

His last fantastic models included the Baneblade and Ork Truck, released in 2007, which Tim designed & made via CAD.

You can see a small selection of his work on our gallery page!

In addition Tim also has been working with other companies producing historical wargames models such as Perry Miniatures, Great War Miniatures, Warlord Games, and Force of Arms.

Tim is also the guy responsible for creating the popular pewter giftware ranges for Arum-Lilie Designs, such as historical pendants, brooches and decorations.
